DONE!

The humble half successfully completed…
Many folk shouted out: "Great Charity!" as I wheezed past, and just like last year, a fellow runner mentioned she'd recently run for The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of a friend who had died aged 31.

I feel sure a cheeky little angel was watching me again, as I beat my time last year by a good 12 minutes…

Thinking always, of our friends and their beautiful boy.

GLOBALMOUSE TRAVELS BLOG REVIEWS "LONDON CALLS!"

What a lovely review! It's quite wonderful when a reviewer spots details and talk about things you've aimed to do and effects you've hoped to have.

And one of the reader's comments at the bottom has even picked up on the font used for the text - which of course was a deliberate choice that rather a lot of thought went into…

Hugely satisfying!

Big thank you to Globalmouse, whoever you are…

GLOBALMOUSE TRAVELS REVIEW

An email from The Art Teacher...

And then we received this later on today:

Dear Gabby and Alex -

Thanks so much to both of you for yesterday. It was really fun to have you there and a great success, the kids really enjoyed it and are most inspired.
I had lunch with some of Y1 today who were chatting about you both. F expanded on his image outside the bus "I just wanted to climb over the top and hang off the back". M plonked her tray down next to me and said "Gabby writes the words and Mr Alex does the drawings, which are called illustrations".
I have never heard her say anything so coherent, ever!

Very best
K

Now that there is magic!

Peckham Park School/Harris Primary Academy

We visited Harris Academy Primary in Peckham yesterday to run a couple of London Calls workshops.

They have their very own light-filled art room - EVERY Primary school should have one of these - and a wonderful art teacher - every primary school should have one of these, too! The kids were brilliant and as ever, the magical buses they filled with passengers were fascinating…we had Peter Pan driving one of them this time, as well as a selection of superheroes, Ninja Turtles, friends, family, the obligatory carrot, a renegade on the roof (see pic)  and lots and lots of friendly ghosts!

Thank you Peckham Park School x

THE SECOND (HALF) MARATHON APPROACHES...

Only 9 days to go before I'll be running the second half of the marathon I ran last year in memory of a  wonderful little boy. Help raise awareness and desperately-needed funds for the Brain Tumour Charity.

Have a read…
